HAM RADIO 2023
As it is every year, the meeting point for radio amateurs was the HAM RADIO 2023 fair organized by the Deutscher Amateur-Radio-Club (DARC) in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
HAM RADIO 2023 is a fair where numerous small and large companies in the field of amateur radio present their latest products and also conduct sales of their existing products.
In addition to the products owned by companies, there is also a flea market environment where radio amateurs exchange or sell equipment at affordable prices.
Any radio amateur can offer their unused equipment for sale in this environment for a nominal fee.
However, this fair is not just a trade-oriented event; it is an eagerly awaited environment for radio amateurs to showcase and demonstrate their projects.
While there are shopping and project presentation stands in various halls at the fair, there are also conferences held simultaneously in multiple conference rooms within the massive fair building at the MESSE, which can attract the interest of radio amateurs.
MoEP in the PARIS Hall at the Fair
With the permission of the Turkish Amateur Radio Society (TRAC), which decided not to participate in HAM RADIO 2023 this year, we, as volunteers of the Mars On Earth Project (MoEP), have decided to activate the TRAC booth.
The TRAC booth, which is traditionally the meeting point for Turkish amateurs every year, aims to create an environment where we can present our MoEP project to amateur radio enthusiasts worldwide, along with MoEP posters and information panels.
Furthermore, a one-hour presentation will be given on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 4:00 PM in the PARIS conference room, where we will provide an overview of our previous MoEP activities and present the activities related to the Es’hail/QO-100 satellite by Turkish radio amateurs.
This year, we will have a large participation, including many radio amateurs from Türkiye as well as the MoEP team.
