About the PARV
PARV is a dedicated research team focused on unraveling the mysteries of Mars, particularly its polar regions, and Jupiter’s moon Europa. Their mission centers around investigating the possibility of life existing under the extreme conditions found there.
The team is conducting joint studies with the Europa Research and Exploration Studies Team (EUREOS) regarding the Jüpiter’in Europa moon. This research also extends to Earth’s polar regions and extremely cold environments. PARV also collaborates in coordination with the Marine Biology Team (MARBIT) to support marine biology research.
PARV’s Mission
PARV’s mission is to investigate the presence and potential for life in the extreme conditions of Mars polar regions. The team conducts research on Mars geology, chemistry, atmosphere, and biology.
PARV’s Research Areas
- Geology and chemistry of Mars polar regions,
- Atmosphere of Mars polar regions,
- Presence of potential life in Mars polar regions,
- Extremophilic microorganisms in Mars polar regions,
- Studies for minimal and modular extreme cold test platforms.
- Field research with extremely low temperatures in Türkiye for MoEP analog astronaut and MoEP Analog Research Station studies,
- Unmanned vehicle testing studies in extreme low temperature regions in Türkiye.
Importance of PARV
PARV is a research team dedicated to acquiring valuable information about the past and future of Mars. The team’s findings will aid us in reaching crucial goals such as gathering necessary data for future manned missions and establishing the existence of life on Mars.
Furthermore, PARV is actively striving to position itself as one of the prominent research teams at the MoEP Analog Mars Research Station.
