QO-100 KG-STV Activity

About The Page: Images on this page; In November-December 2020, at an activity organized by the “Mars on Earth Project Community”, it was picked up by amateur radio operators and listeners (SWL) from the es’Hail-2 / QO-100 satellite in geosynchronous orbit of 36.000 km.

About The Pictures: All the pictures were drawn by children between the ages of 6 and 12 at the activity of “Life on Mars Through the Eyes of Children“. All 152 images were sent to space and the satellite.

  1. Drawings show emotions, feelings and wishes of many kids who dream life on Mars just like on the Earth. They don’t know how the “Red Planet” is, but they aren’t scared about that. Mars is figured like a wonderful place where everybody can joyfully meet other people. Due to this reason, kids draw men, galaxies, starship and rockets using sparkling and vibrant colours. Some drawings are simple….other more complex…but every drawing is expression of love, happyness, energy, Curiosity and joy of life. IZ2NPF Andrea & M
